By 7am I was printing away.My great friend Heather is having a baby this summer and I'll be out to see her and her cute tummy next month for the marathon so..... I made these cute things.
I got a few of my designs made into screens this week and was so excited to start screen printing. A snow day couldn't have come at a better time.
And... printed on some cloth napkins! Thanks so much for all your commented (and e-mailed) suggestions, I'm totally going to try a few.
Vito came home early and started making some delish chili and I baked a couple loaves of bread. We watched movies and drank yummy wine.
And this morning.... I got the no school call again! I baked a few (marion blackberry) scones for breakfast. Blackberry is now officially my favorite, they are a little sweeter than blueberries.
And for the neighbors... rugulah! I made two kinds... walnut with brown sugar and lemon poppy seed.Surprisingly good.
That's why the neighbors get over half... I'd eat all of them.
Hope you have a great weekend...I'm off to shovel the driveway, it snowed over a foot!

We had a yummy dinner by the fire last night. It was the perfect ending to a cold rainy day.
Go check out
Saturday I baked a pie and took it with us to V's grandparents house for a visit.
I discovered this amazing artist..
Her paintings are so warm and rich.

Hope you had a great weekend.
And.. I got some

I have been nuts over these colors lately...
And Saturday night we went out to dinner at Ja Ja Bistro (amazing French Restaurant) with Ron and Whit. A little celebration for V and Whit's five years of business. One of V's interns works there and she totally hooked us up with this super cute dessert.
Sunday I went to a yoga class with duce, came home and did some printing! It was fun. I started doing a little Spring cleaning yesterday and started organizing the garage.
It was a really nice weekend. This Spring weather has been amazing. I keep waiting for it to turn and start snowing but so far it's been really lovely. Hope you have a great MoNdAY!*

I'm hoping to have a dozen or so really yummy things I can make without needing a recipe .. it's actually been really fun experimenting. I think I'm getting a bit better, not great, but better.
We totally lucked out with the weather, it was beautiful.

Hope you have a great weekend!

...especially when he comes home early to make me a dinner like this..
don't ask me what this deliciousness is.. some sort of rolled up pork with spicy cheese and slices of ham inside... it was amazing.
We met at his office and all carpooled over, it was so nice.
All 20 of us packed into the back room at Breckenridge Brewery and had a yummy meal and drinks.
Everyone seemed to have a great time, it was a great way to spend an evening.
Hope you had a nice weekend. I'm doing my long run (8 miles) tonight since I was busy this weekend. I keep putting it off.. I'm still not quite in the groove of things yet. Hopefully within a couple of weeks I'll feel a bit more confident about these long runs.
